High five Asus!

Some people are accusing Asus for being "sexists" because they made a funny comment on one of their models. Some (stupid) people see this as being sexists, which is in my opinion just wrong for a few reasons. Here is the awesome tweet:

Update your Windows machine fast!

It seems like the malware called "Flame" has managed to obtain a certificate which looks like it is a genuine one from Microsoft. What happens is that the malware will try to do a man-in-the-middle attack. It will trick Windows into thinking it is receiving a legit update from Microsoft, and install it. A patch is already out which removes the certificate from the list of trusted ones in Windows. The update is called "KB2718704" and everyone should install it eminently. It is available through the Windows Update and Microsoft's website. Please only install this update before installing any other update.

There is no need to panic, but you should update as fast as possible because this is a pretty big security hole.

Windows 8 Release Preview

The Windows 8 Release Preview is now out. This is pretty much the final version of Windows 8. You can download it from Microsoft's website here, if you feel it testing it out.

Cyberbullying

I am getting pretty sick and tired of this. Not because I am bullied, but because mass media blows it way out proportions. I checked my RSS feed today and saw that a Swedish newspaper had posted this:

Fuck yeah Loreen!

I usually don't give a crap about The Eurovision Song Contest, but I knew we (Sweden) had a good chance of actually winning this year so I decided to watch it, and I am glad I did. Sweden came first with 372 points. Russia came in second place with a total of 259. 113 less than glorious Sweden.

Facebook IPO

So as some of you people already know. Facebook held an IPO a few days ago (18/05 to be exact) and a lot of people hadn't even heard of IPO before this (me included, which is not that interested in stocks). So what is an IPO? IPO stands for "Initial public offering", which is often called "stock market launch". As the name suggests, it is when a company starts selling stocks to the public. Here is a quick summary of what happened and the state of the stocks as of the time writing this.
