MWC part 3

Seems like not much has been announced since my last MWC article but there are a few things I ignored yesterday and the day before that so let's look at those.

LG Optimus 4X HD
New phone from LG which was shown 2 days ago but I didn't really care that much about it.
It has a 4.7" IPS screen with a resolution of 1280x720.
The phone is powered by a Tegra 3 clocked at 1.5GHz with 1GB of DDR2 RAM.
The rear facing camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels and the front facing camera has a resolution of 1.3 megapixels.
The battery is a 2150mAh one which should hopefully be able to give you quite decent battery life even though the screen is huge.
It runs Android 4.0 and as far as I can tell, the device does not have any buttons on the front, but on the other hand, I do not see any on screen buttons like the Galaxy Nexus has. Not sure if for example the back button is on screen like the Galaxy Nexus, or if it's the more "traditional" capacities touch buttons found on for example the old LG Optimus 2x.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
I mentioned the Galaxy Note 10.1 in my first MWC post but I didn't comment on it in the second article even though more info was released. Why? Because I don't really find it interesting or impressive. Maybe I had too high expectations.
Anyway, the device has a 10.1" PLS screen with a resolution of 1280x800. For those of you who does not what PLS is, it's the same panel type used in the Galaxy tab 10.1 and the technology itself aims to replace IPS because of lower production cost as well as higher image quality.
The processor is an unnamed 1.4GHz dual core, which is probably the same Exynos 4210 used in the regular Galaxy Note (and the Galaxy S 2 but at a lower clock frequency) with 1GB of RAM. It will come in 3 different capacities with either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB, and all of them has support for a micro SD card.
Samsung says that they have tweaked the stylus so that it is more accurate than the one used by the Galaxy Note. So this is basically an even bigger Galaxy Note.

Boot to Gecko
Engadget uploaded a video where a spokesperson from Mozilla demos Boot to Gecko, Mozilla's upcoming mobile OS, on a Galaxy S 2. It looks alright but I will most likely stick to Android. The OS is pretty much like a web browser with a few extra phone oriented APIs.
The Engadget video and article can be found here.
